Outremont

Outremont is such a culturally rich, vibrant and diversified neighborhood. The streets are steeped in color, texture and architectural styles. As well as being a mulitcultural community, this neighborhood offers a fantastic gastronomical experience. The streets are filled with bistros, bars and  from a foodie point of view.

This quartier, also known as (“beyond the mountain”) is an affluent residential arrondissement situated north of downtown Montreal on the northwestern side of Mount Royal. Its history as a neighbourhood is evident as its timeless architecture adorns the tree-lined streets that have been home to the French-speaking upper class since conception. One of the things I love about this are is that it boasts over 25 parks and lays claim to some of the best public and private schools in Montreal.
