A Post About Nature’s Real Estate

Today on the morning of  Christmas eve, I felt compelled to write a post about nature’s real estate. 99% of the time this blog talks about the built environment, bricks and mortars, the economy, and the market stats. Today is not only a time to gather with family, but an opportunity to reflect on the planet and the world at large, as well as our role in it.

Before I begin, I’d like to take this moment to wish all my clients, friends, neighbors and all of you out there, a very wonderful, joyous, holiday season, filled with much health, laughter, peace and abundance!

In this spirit I’d like to share a video I compiled that serves to remind me of our incredible oceans and their inhabitants. They need our protection now more than ever before. If you like the video, please read my Medium article, Giving Voice to the Voiceless. It goes into some detail about understanding what black carbon emmissions are. Their role in the cycle of climate change, and why we really need to pay attention. More knowledge helps us make more informed decisions and we need to better understand what we’re at stake of losing.

With love and appreciation for the planet, the ocean and it’s most spectacular creatures. It’s an entire universe unto itself.

Giving Voice To The Voiceless

I can’t tell you how many times when vacationing by the ocean, I’d find heaps of garbage by the shoreline. From plastic bottles, saran wrap, to half eaten food…you get the picture. I could easily spend an hour just picking up crap in a small attempt to avert all of it getting hopelessly sucked into the ocean with the tide.
